Happy Halloween, guys!
I’d just like to say welcome to any new visitors I might have, and welcome back to any old visitors. I highly doubt there will be any new ones yet, but I intend to give this site a bit more… attention than I did my old one. Some of the changes are: new name, new layout, went through the ‘for you’ index, combining my blog site and portfolio site and a few other things.
Why did I decide to do this? Black Cat Friday was originally intended to be my portfolio site, what I show potential clients, kept separate from my woes and rants. As it turned out, running two websites wasn’t working out for me. I had this site since May, and this is the first I ever got to actually finishing and opening it (and notice it’s not even the original idea anymore). Therefore I decided to cut down to one site. It was just a matter of which I liked more. That Website Designs is older, I’ve had it for like, two or three years. The only thing I really liked about that site was the history, the time I’ve had it, how I’ve grown with it. But the name… it was originally a joke, a joke that wasn’t really funny anymore. x:
So that left blackcatfriday.com, what you see here. I can honestly say I adore this site’s name, and it’ll be a chance to get kind of a new start. Things are still being worked on, as you can see, but I wanted Halloween to be the official open date.
If anyone knows how to fix the sidebar overlapping the footer on shorter pages… that would be awesome. Just email me at manda@blackcatfriday.com, thanks!
