You would have like, shaved it.

So, it’s Wednesday and the last day of June. Already. I really can’t quite believe how fast the beginning of my summer break went. July brings summer band rehearsals and assisting parking for the county fair as a member of Skills. I returned from Florida Sunday night. The flight back was kind of hectic. I had a layover in Cleveland and my plane from Orlando was late, so I had to run all the way across the entire Cleveland airport and up four flights of stairs (because God forbid the escalators or elevators work, right?) only to find out that my gate had been changed, and my flight delayed. By an hour. So I didn’t get home until like eleven something, whereas I should have been home a little after nine.

But overall, I really enjoyed myself. There’s nothing like finally being able to meet your best friend. Haha.

While there, I did take some pictures. One of them, Vitality, was named by Dusty. She hacked my deviantART account and, beyond changing my ID and adding new submissions, xD, she also went through and renamed all my Untitled pictures. Lydia commented on how good of a name it was, and Dusty was freaking out. So I videotaped it and thought I would share, because it’s hilarious. xD

You’re HAPPY? This is you HAPPY?!

I took a bunch of other videos, but whether or not I’ll put them up is a different question entirely. We’ll see what happens. :D

Hellooo from Florida!

Monday, June 21st, 2010

Hey guys. It’s Monday, and this is my third day in Florida with Ma. Ma, also known as Dusty. :D I just wanted to let you know that I’m not dead or anything, and to apologize for not updating prior to coming here. Since I won’t apologize for not updating int he past three days considering, well, I’m meeting my best friend for the first time. It’s amazing, in case you were wondering.

I don’t really have much to say at the moment. It’s really hot here. I guess it’s not necessarily the heat that just gets me, but the humidity is kind of ridiculous. You walk outside and it already feels like I’ve been running up and down the street at home a few times. Haha.

We haven’t gone to the ocean yet, however I guess her mother is taking us later in the week. I walked in the ocean when we came down to Miami in February of 2009, however I have yet to actually swim. Ma says I have to. So we are.

It’s kind of hard to comprehend that I’m actually here. I mean, this is someone I’ve known for four years. This is the person who has been there from almost the start of my webdesigning to the present, from the start of my roleplaying to the present. I talk to her almost every single day. And now I’m actually here, in the same room as her. Four years ago, I would have never thought this was possible. Heck, a year ago, I would have never believed it. We talked about it, but it’s still, even now, hard to understand that I actually am here.

And it’s such an odd feeling. I mean, it’s familiar. As I said I’ve talked to her almost every day for the past four years. So it’s familiar. We’ve skyped, so I have seen her. We’ve talked on the phone, so I know her voice. It’s familiar yet so different. It’s weird. But it’s amazing. I wish I could stay the whole summer. However I have band things and I already have my tickets for home purchased. ):

She said last night I could sell them on the black market. Haha.

Anyway, just thought I’d do a quick update. :D

Coming soon in the summer of 1997

Watching The Lion King. I don’t remember what movie exactly, but the previews reminded me that one of the other original Disney movies said what I have for the title of this blog. It feels so ridiculous. Like some kind of insane time warp. Haha.

It was… not the greatest the first few days to my summer vacation but things are starting to relax now. And by relax I do not mean I get much time to rest. Sarah is coming over on Wednesday to spend the night, and before picking her up, I have to take my grandma to an appointment. My dad wants like, the entire house clean before Sarah comes. Which is what I’m suppose to be doing today (I did more of my room, put away the dishes and organized the pantry — I’m taking a break) and tomorrow morning. At four I have an orthodontist appointment tomorrow which means I’m going to be late to work, which is really no big deal.

Thursday I take Sarah home then I have to work at four. Friday I don’t think I have to do anything besides make sure I have everything for Florida. I leave Saturday morning.

Yesterday I saw Iron Man 2 and The Prince of Persia with my dad (the former I paid for) because I’m going to be missing Father’s Day this Sunday. I swear I thought it was yesterday. The craft store I go to even said it was the thirteenth! I’m also missing my grandmother’s birthday on the twenty-first and her anniversary to my grandfather on the twenty-second. So my conscious is pretty much exploding with guilt. I’m also a little nervous because this is going to be the longest I’ve ever gone alone. I mean, forty-five minutes seems like absolutely nothing in comparison to flying to Florida by yourself.

The movies were fantastic though. :D I adore anything related to Marvel or DC and they are just so unbelievably epic. The Prince of Persia was just amazing. I love movies though so I’m not too picky in them, haha.

This is random but, Mufasa is the greatest character ever.
